VICE CHANCELLOR'S CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR MESSAGE 2009

This is to wish you all joyful celebrations of the season. The year 2009 has been a period of many special blessings for the University and for all of us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your hard work and commitment over the past year. We anticipate another successful year in 2010.

The University can gratefully say that we have made modest progress. It is important for each one of us to assess our individual contributions to the growth of the University. The strength of this institution depends greatly on the proper functioning of the various components to the benefits of all.

I thank the faculty members, staff and students for maintaining peace and tranquility by engaging in dialogue towards resolution of issues. I am hopeful that we can continue to uplift the image of UCC.

Do allow me to express appreciation for the goodwill and support you continue to accord Management. I hope that each one of you is going to face the New Year with even more commitment to enable the University realize greater achievements.
