The MPhil programme shall be two (2) years full time or three (3) years part-time programme and will normally consist of two parts. Part 1 shall consist of two semesters of course work of at least 24 Credits. Part 2 extends over 12 months and is for research and presentation. The course work and the thesis shall be in a specialised area of Religion and Human Values as below.
Areas of Specialisation
Students have the option to specialize in any one of these broad areas:
African Traditional Religion & Society
Church & Society
Ethics & Society
Bible & Society (Students may opt for Old Testament or New Testament or Qur'an in the MPhil programme)
Islam & Society
Students are required to take the CORE courses indicated in the various areas of specialization. In addition to these core courses, students are required to select ELECTIVES from any subject group.
