The Academic Board has approved the initiative to award outstanding researchers in the University of Cape Coast. The award shall be dispensed annually to deserving staff of the University in the month of December at a special ceremony to be organized by the Vice Chancellor’s Office. The Directorate of Research, Innovation and Consultancy (DRIC) shall liaise with the Vice Chancellor’s Office in the organization of the award ceremony.

The research awards are:

• Best ‘Evolving’ Researcher
• Best ‘Evolved’ Researcher
• ‘Outstanding’ Researcher
