As part of the Vice-Chancellor’s vision to promote a green University of Cape Coast and in line with the Government’s Green Ghana Initiative, the University in collaboration with the Forestry Commission will embark on a tree planting exercise.

The programme, which has a target of 50,000 trees, will be spearheaded by the Vice-Chancellor.

The programme is scheduled as follows

8:00a.m. -         Convergence point: Frontage of the Adow Obeng central Administration

-           Remarks by Vice-Chancellor

-           Movement from Central Administration to the planting site

-.          Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Forestry representative to plant first

-           Planting by all

-           Closing remarks by the Vice-Chancellor

            -           Refreshment

            -           Departure
