ENGAGEMENT OF PRIVATE SECURITY FIRM TO GUARD SELECTED BUILDINGS ON CAMPUS

1. The University of Cape Coast intends to apply part of its Internally Generated Funds for payment towards the realization of the procurement below.

Engagement of Private Security Firm to provide Man Guard Security services at selected buildings on campus

2. The provision of the Man Guard Security services shall cover a period of one (1) year, subject to renewal for additional one or two years upon satisfactory performance. Details are contained in the tender document.

 

3. The University of Cape Coast invites sealed Tenders from eligible Security Firms for the provision of security services for 11 selected buildings on Campus. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as Amended and the Guidelines of the Public Procurement Authority of the Republic of Ghana.

 

4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the Procurement Office, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast and inspect the Tender document at the address and location given from Monday-Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm local time each day.

 

5. A complete set of Tender documents in English be may purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of GH¢200.00 for the document. The method of payment will be cash, or bank draft to the University of Cape Coast.

 

6. Tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Procurement Office, New Central Administration Building, New Site, at or before 11.00am on Friday, 27th September, 2024.

 

7.  Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline for Tender submission. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of not less than GH¢15,000.00 from a reputable Bank or Insurance Company in the format attached in the tender documents. Late tenders will be rejected.

Tenders will be opened at 11:10am on Friday, 27th September, 2024 in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the Procurement Office Conference Room, University of Cape Coast.

 

8. All tenders must be accompanied by:

Valid Business Registration Certificate, VAT Certificate, PPA Registration Certificate, Private Security Industry License, Ghana Police Service Clearance Certificate, Private Security Industry Regulatory Body Certificate, Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate, Valid Tax Clearance Certificate issued for the purpose of transacting business with the University of Cape Coast and other relevant Certificates where applicable.

 

9. The Firm must obtain license from the Ministry of Interior and be in Good standing. Interested Tenderers must also arrange to inspect the selected buildings on campus (named in the Tender documents)
