A delegation from the University of Buffalo, New York, USA, School of Management, has called on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah.
The delegation, led by the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Research and Experiential Learning, Dr. Mara Huber, said the team was in UCC to acquaint itself with programmes run by the University and also seek collaboration
She noted that her University runs programmes such as Engineering, Education, Applied Sciences and leadership training.
Dr. Huber pointed out that the University wants its students to engage in hands-on learning activities.
For his part, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah briefed the delegation about the programmes run at the various colleges of the University.
He told the US delegation that the university runs five colleges, namely Colleges of Education, Distance Education, Agricultural and Natural Sciences, and Humanities and Legal Studies.
Prof. Ampiah noted that the University would be glad to have a fruitful relationship with the University of Buffalo's School of Management.
