The Department of Environment, Governance and Sustainable Development (DEGSuD) at the School for Development Studies, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. The driving principles and goals of the Department are embodied in the vision and mission statements. The Department offers a range of postgraduate degree courses, which reflect the ‘centre stage’ that the department occupies within the environment, governance and sustainable development sector. There are a wide range of career opportunities available to the graduates. Our graduate teaching programmes provide quality, up-to-date training in environment, governance and sustainable development by a multi-disciplinary team of experts in their fields.
