Mission statement:
To conduct and use educational research in the development of educational practitioners and to promote best teaching practices in the University of Cape Coast and other tertiary/pre-tertiary institutions. Through its outreach programmes, the School augments the efforts of the University of Cape Coast to deliver on its mandate regarding education in Ghana by providing professional support that will enable educational practitioners to promote quality research and innovative managerial practices.

If YES, the SEDO has the expertise and facilities to fulfill your interest.Based on research-linked experiential learning approaches,SEDO works closely with Ghana’s Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service in providing pre-service and continuous professional development training for educational leaders and teachers at all levels of the educational enterprise.
The School of Educational Development and Outreach (SEDO), established in August 2016, is within the College of Education Studies, University of Cape Coast. The rationale for establishing the School is to extend its expertise and facilities in conducting and using educational research for the training and development of educational practitioners and for promoting best teaching practices within the education enterprise.
The School of Educational Development & Outreach is made up of two (2) Institutes and two (2) Centres.
