Candidates must have a good first degree with a minimum of second class (lower division) in one of the following: B.Sc. General Agriculture B.Sc. Crop Science B.Sc. Botany

Short-listed candidates will be further interviewed to assess their suitability to pursue the programme.

Career Opportunities: 

The programme, has the purpose of offering postgraduate training to middle and senior level personal of Agricultural Institutions and NGOs to assist with development of framework and capacities for ensuring the promotion of good use of seeds including vegetative propagation to enhance crop production. It consists of course work in the first year and research in the second year with each student taking a minimum of 5 three-credit hour courses per semester in the first.
