The Directorate of Finance of University of Cape Coast (UCC) has pledged to digitize accounting records of the University. In view of this, the Directorate has organised a workshop on digitisation of Accounting Records for its staff.

Teachers and pupils of the University of Cape Coast Junior High School (UJHS) have commemorated this year’s African Union (AU) Day with a colourful event which displayed the various flags of member states in a well-staged choreography and a display of their rich cultures.

The Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA), University of Cape Coast (UCC) chapter has held a day's Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme for members of the Association.

The initiative forms part of the Association's plans to strategically help members develop great administrative competencies in their various specialised areas of endeavour within the University's administration.

Presentation of  the international accreditation certificate to ACECoR

The Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR), University of Cape Coast has obtained international accreditation for four postgraduate programmes being run with – and hosted by the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (DFAS).

 The accreditation with a validity period of six years was received from the prestigious Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programmes (AQAS), based in Cologne, Germany.

The Infrastructure Development Institute (IDI), Japan,  in collaboration with the Africa Centre of Excellence in Coastal Resilience (ACECoR), University of Cape Coast, with the support of the World Bank, has organised a short course  on Coastal Management through the Integrated Sediment Management Approach.

The College of Education Studies of University of Cape Coast (UCC) has bid farewell to Reeves Scholars from the Michigan State University, USA.

The Reeves Scholars Program (RSP) is a reciprocal exchange between future teachers at Michigan State University (MSU) in the United States and at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana.

 

The second World Conference on Transformative Education has opened at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

The three-day conference which has converged academicians across the globe, is on the theme: "The Future of Africa and the Role of Transformative Education." The conference is aimed at seeking solutions to improve the quality of education from kindergarten to higher education.
