A section of senior members (academic) of the College of Health and Allied Sciences (CoHAS), University of Cape Coast (UCC) are participating in a workshop on Grant and Proposal Writing at the Coconut Grove Hotel in Cape Coast.

 

The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rosemond Boohene, has advised fresh students to cultivate and maintain the core values of academic excellence, empowerment, equality and ethical behaviour to enable them succeed in the University.

The University of Cape Coast and Centre of Awareness Research & Manufacturing Company Limited (COA), producers of COA mixture, formerly known as COA-FS are exploring wide-ranging areas of collaboration between the two institutions.

This came to light when the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rosemond Boohene, led a five-member delegation to pay a working visit to COA at Wusorkrom, Abura Asebu Kwamankese District in the Central Region.

The University of Cape Coast will be hosting the second edition of International Conference on Education Research for Development in Africa (ICEDA) from September, 2023.

ICERDA seeks to create a unique space for new and established education researchers to meet regularly to disseminate research that addresses and develops research that inspires policy makers to take action to improve the quality of education for all Africans, especially the disadvantaged and marginalised.

The Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Cape Coast (UCC), Dr. Nancy Ebu Enyan, has received Dr. David A. Pearce, the President, Innovation, Research and World Clinic to the University.

 

Dr. Enyan briefed Dr. Pearce and his accompanying delegation on the activities of the School of Nursing and Midwifery. 

 

RUFORUM Executive Secretary lauds UCC

The Executive Secretary of the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), Prof. Patrick Okori, has lauded the University of Cape Coast (UCC) for its participation in the activities of RUFORUM. 

 

He noted that the contributions of UCC towards RUFORUM since 2014 had been immense and called on faculty to work towards ensuring that RUFORUM achieved its Vision 2030.
