The School of Business is a centre of excellence, providing high quality teaching, research and outreach in Business and allied disciplines.
History:
The School of Business was carved out of the Faculty of Social Sciences. It started as a Department of Business Studies in 1975/1976 academic year. In 1991, it was merged with the Department of Economics; however, the status was reversed during the 1996/1997 academic year when the Department of Business Studies was separated from the Department of Economics. The Department was upgraded to a School in the 2004/2005 academic year. The School has five (5) Departments, a Centre, a Consultancy Unit and a Business Incubator.
