INVITATION TO TENDER - NATIONAL COMPETITIVE TENDERING (NCT)
FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT (FWA) FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF GOODS
1. The University of Cape Coast (UCC), intends to apply part of its Budgetary allocation of funds and Internally Generated Funds where applicable, for payment under the following Contracts-Framework Agreements through the Ghana Electronic Procurement System.

3. The University of Cape Coast is undertaking the Primary Procurement with a view to concluding a Framework Agreement. The University is the sole Entity under the Framework Agreement. The University of Cape Coast now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for the Procurement of Rice, Tomatoes and Chicken.
4. The Framework Agreement to be concluded will be "Single-User." "The Single-User entitled to procure under the Framework Agreement is University of Cape Coast. The Framework Agreement to be concluded will be "Multi-Supplier."
5. The selection of an FWA Supplier to be awarded a Call-off Contract will be done through a Secondary Procurement process as defined in the Framework Agreement. However, the conclusion of a Framework Agreement shall not impose any obligation on the University to procure Goods under a Call-off Contract. The conclusion of a Framework Agreement does not guarantee that an FWA Supplier will be awarded a Call-off Contract.
6. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663) as amended. Tenderers may submit Tenders for one or more "lots" where applicable.
7. The Framework Agreement(s) shall be concluded for a Term of one year (1) from the commencement date stated in the Framework Agreement. The Primary Procurement shall establish a Closed Framework Agreement(s). This means no new firm(s) may conclude Framework Agreement during the Term of Framework Agreement.
8. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from the Procurement Office, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast. They can also download the tender document electronically through GHANEPS Website and pay non-refundable fee of GH₵200.00 for each of the tenders above. Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate
Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate
Valid VAT Registration Certificate
Valid Business Registration Certificate (if applicable)
Valid Certificate of Incorporation (if applicable)
Valid Registration Certificate from PPA
9. Prospective Tenderers must log on to www.ghaneps.gov.gh with their respective user name and password to access the Tender. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline for Tender submission.
Tenders must be submitted through the GHANEPS at or before 11:00am, on Thursday, 16th January, 2025. Late Tenders will be rejected. Tenders submitted offline will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened electronically through GHANEPS. Where samples are required, they must be submitted to the Procurement Office, University of Cape Coast not later than 12.00pm on 16th January, 2025.
