The University of Cape Coast Basic School –North Campus, formerly known as Basic School Annex has held its 2nd Speech and Prize Giving Day on the theme ‘The Role of Self-Discipline in Achieving Academic Excellence.’
The Institute of Education has presented a Toyota Hilux vehicle to the Directorate of Physical Development and Estate Management (DPDEM) at a short ceremony on campus.
The vehicle is to facilitate the movement of staff of DPDEM to monitor the Institute of Education Guest House project on campus as well as other projects within and outside campus.

The Confucius Institute has celebrated its second anniversary with both Chinese and Ghanaian cultural performances at the Main Auditorium.
Speaking at the function, the Central Regional Minister, Mr. Kwamina Duncan, commended the University for hosting the Institute to promote the Chinese Language and culture and also extending it to other educational institutions in the region. He assured that the Regional Coordinating Council would ensure a peaceful environment to make the region secure for the Confucius Institute to develop and achieve its objectives.
