Presentation of award to the winning team

The University of Cape Coast Chapter of Ghana Association of University Women (GAUW), of the Graduate Women International (GWI), has held a reading, creative writing and public speaking competition for some selected basic schools in the Cape Coast Metropolis.

The competition was aimed at promoting reading, creative writing and public speaking among girls at the basic education level.

DIRECTORATE OF FINANCE WELFARE ASSOCIATION DONATES TO CAPE COAST SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF

The Directorate of Finance Welfare Association has donated items valued at GH ¢15, 000 to the Cape Coast School for the Deaf.

The items included two desktop computers, assorted food items and toiletries.

Presenting the items, the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Victorious Hagan Yamoah, said the donation was their corporate social responsibility to the School. He said the Association decided to make a positive impact in the lives of students in the School as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations.

Vice-Chancellor Leads Delegation to 2018 RUFORUM Biennial Conference

A delegation from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah, has participated in the Biennial Conference of the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), and the 6th Africa Higher Education Week at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi, Kenya.
