There are many optimization algorithms for partitioning task onto multiprocessirs being used by researcher and industries. For years now, researchers are proposing different algorithms to solve the partitioning problem. This presentation is to highlight some basic algorithms and also discuss a proposal on how to automatically optimize and implement partitioning algorithms in the cheddar simulation platform.
