The University of Cape Coast, in collaboration with the CSIR–Crops Research Institute (Kumasi) and the Lake Agege Farm Institute (Mankessim), announces a one-day Policy Workshop under the DIVAGRI ProjectRevenue DIVersification pathways in Africa through biobased and circular AGRicultural Innovations.

This engagement is targeted at sharing insights from the DIVAGRI (Revenue DIVersification pathways in Africa through biobased and circular AGRicultural Innovations) Project implemented in Ghana from 2021 and expected to end in November 2025 with funding from the European Union. The project consortium is made up of three Ghanaian partners - University of Cape Coast, CSIR - Crops Research Institute in Kumasi and Lake Agege Farm Institute, a non-Governmental Organisation in Mankessim.

The workshop will highlight biobased innovations and technologies alongside the sustainable inclusive business models emanating from the project initiative, as well as recommended policy directives that could be of varied interest to communities of practice, partners, governance and policy decision making in the context of Ghana.

The policy workshop will serve as a platform for various stakeholders to present their opinions about the project outcomes and feedback avenue to take inputs from experts and policy decision makers.
