The Directorate of Finance Welfare Association has climaxed its Silver Jubilee anniversary celebration with dinner.                       

Speaking at the function, the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Victorious Hagan Yamoah, thanked members for actively participating in activities of the one-week celebration. He expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and management of the University for rallying behind the Association to make its celebrations a success.

Mr. Yamoah asked members to foster unity among themselves and be dedicated and committed to their duties as staff of the University. He promised of exciting programmes and activities to help members relieve of stress.

Citations and cash awards were presented to retired members of the Association. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. George K. T. Oduro, was also honoured at the function.

Present at the dinner were the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah, Registrar, Mr. John Kofi Nyan; Director of Finance, Mrs. Elizabeth Obese; Deputy Director of Finance, Mr. Francis Obeng and some retirees of the Directorate.
