Pharmaceutical Society calls on Pro Vice-Chancellor

The leadership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) has paid a courtesy call to the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Prof. Denis Aheto at his office.

The President of PSGH, Pharmacist Dr. Samuel Kow Donkoh, speaking at the meeting, said the visit was to inform management of the University about the upcoming PSGH Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be hosted at the UCC from 15-21 September 2025.

He said the AGM was the flagship gathering of PSGH, which would bring together  over 5,000 pharmacists across diverse practice groups in Ghana.

Dr. Donkoh took advantage of the meeting to prevail on management of the University to release some facilities to facilitate the hosting of the AGM.

In response, Pro Vice-Chancellor warmly welcomed the delegation and indicated the readiness of the UCC to host the AGM.

Present at the meeting were the Dean of School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPPS)-UCC, Prof. Elvis Ofori Ameyaw, Mrs. Esther Bema Nimo, Faculty Officer at SoPPS, as well as executives of Central Regional branch of PSGH.
