Prof. Essumang Inducted into Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences 

The immediate Past Dean of the School of Physical Sciences, Prof. David Kofi Essumang, has been inducted as a fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, (GAAS) at a ceremony in Accra.
        
Prof. Essumang, an alumnus of UCC, who is currently the Vice-Chancellor of the Koforidua Technical University, was inducted with seven others as part of this year’s Founders’ week celebrations of the Academy.  The theme for the celebrations was “Beyond 60 years of scholarly excellence-new frontiers and prospects”.

The induction ceremony was performed by the President of the Academy, Prof. Henrietta J. A. N. Mensah Bonsu.
