Global Peer Review Awards

The Global Peer Review Awards are the only cross-publisher awards that celebrate the efforts of peer reviewers worldwide. The Awards were established four years ago to celebrate efforts of scholars who are committed to safeguarding the quality and integrity of scholarly communication through peer review. The top 1% of reviewers in each of the 22 Essential Science Indicators (ESI) research areas—Agricultural Sciences, Biology & Biochemistry, Chemistry, Clinical Medicine, Computer Science, Economics & Business, Engineering, Environment/Ecology, Geosciences, Immunology, Materials Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, Molecular Biology & Genetics, Multidisciplinary, Neuroscience & Behaviour, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Physics, Plant and Animal Science, Psychiatry/Psychology, Social Sciences General, Space Sciences, and Arts & Humanities, is awarded.
 For the 2019 Edition of the award, the eligibility criteria indicate that rankings are calculated by a number of verified pre-publication reviews that are:
•    performed for journals indexed in Web of Science Core Collection (including the Emerging Sources Citation Index) at the time of calculation;
•    performed between 1 September, 2018 and 31 August, 2019; and
•    added to Publons before 31 August, 2019.
