The Faculty of Law, University of Cape Coast has held its ninth (9th) Roll Call ceremony which saw one hundred and fourteen students (114) being inducted.

The event was also to recognize and appreciate students who performed creditably in their academic work.

A Supervising High Court judge in the Western Region, HL Justice Sedina Agbemava, administered the oath to the fresh students.

The National executives of the Ghana Bar Association, GBA, have paid a courtesy visit to management of the University of Cape Coast. The visit was to introduce the executives to the leadership of the University as a step towards deepening the academic corporation between the GBA and the Faculty of Law-UCC.

The Vice-Chancellor of University of Cape Coast, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, has held an interactive session with alumni of the University in Washington DC in the United States of America.

The meeting, convened under the auspices of the Institutional Advancement Office-UCC, was aimed at reconnecting and strengthening the linkages between the University and its alumni.

The University of Cape Coast has secured a partnership with Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania in the United States of America to establish a School of Engineering. The agreement which includes Curriculum Development and other academic related activities would also see Bucknell University sponsor a student from UCC for a semester exchange programme annually, support capacity building for staff of UCC’s Directorate of Physical Development and Estate Management and other Faculty Related Exchanges.

The Directorate of Research, Innovation and Consultancy (DRIC) of University of Cape Coast has held a training workshop for selected members of faculty of the University.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor of University of Cape Coast, Prof. (Mrs.) Rosemond Boohene, has paid a day’s working visit to some sections of the University to introduce herself to management and staff of these sections upon her assumption of office.  She also took advantage of the visits to interact with staff and familiarize with their operations.

Pupils of the University of Cape Coast Basic School who excelled at the national Spelling Bee championship competition held on March 12, 2022 in Accra have presented their awards to management of the University.

The Students` Financial Support Office (STuFSO), UCC has held its second scholarship award ceremony. The award scheme aims at providing financial assistance to needy but brilliant students who face financial constraints in the pursuit of their academic goals.

The support, these students receive, comes in varied forms such as full or partial scholarship, provision of accommodation or tuition fee arrangements.
