Admission of Bachelor of Laws Programme 2026/2027

The University of Cape Coast invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the Regular First Degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Basic Entry Requirements

1.  POST-FIRST-DEGREE APPLICANTS

Applicants seeking admission into the UCC Faculty of Law Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme must:

a.   Have obtained a good first degree in any field of study from a recognized University with at least Second Class Lower or better or have obtained a post-graduate qualification from a recognized University.

b.   Submit degree certificate and official transcripts of academic record.

c.   Pass the Faculty of Law entrance examination and selection interview.

d.   Provide a release letter from the employer or evidence that the applicant will be granted leave to pursue the course, if the applicant is an employee.

e.   Entrance Exams and Interview fee of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵1000.00).

2.  POST-WASSCE APPLICANTS

a.     Direct admission ( without interview) to applicants with aggregate 6 to 7 ( subject to places available and applications received)

b.     Selection interview for applicants with Aggregate 8 to 12 (subject to places available)

c.      Interview fee of Seven Hundred and Fifty Ghana cedis (GH₵750.00)

Applications received from Post-WASSCE (with results) and Post-Degree Applicants after 15th June, 2026 will NOT be considered
