


The Chinese Students' Association (CHINSA) of University of Cape Coast (UCC) has been inaugurated to promote the welfare of members.

The Office of the Dean of Students in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) has organized a two-day orientation programme for final year students ahead of the 2022/23 National Service Year.

A thirteen-member Board of Trustees of the School of Economics Development Fund (SoEDFUND) has been inaugurated.
The members of the Board were unveiled at the launch of the School of Economics Development Fund on Wednesday April 4, 2022 which was on the theme, “Towards Building a World-Class Research-Intensive and Entrepreneurial School - The Role of Stakeholders."

The School of Economics of University of Cape Coast (UCC) has launched a development fund to raise GHS 20 million to support the setting up of a state-of-the-art Economics Research Centre.

The commitment of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, to transform UCC into a world-class entrepreneurial university has received a major boost following the launch of the Ghana Britain Partnership for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GB-PIE) project.
The GB-PIE project is aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the youth through knowledge transfer programmes.

The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has presented a cheque for an amount of GHS30, 000 to the University of Cape Coast in support of activities commemorating the 60th anniversary celebrations of the University.

The University of Cape Coast, UCC, has donated a four-wheel scooter to a physically challenged alumnus to aid his movement. The beneficiary, Mr. Paul Biney, graduated UCC in 2021.

A two-day workshop with the objective of making journals of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) visible, accessible, vibrant and recognized has opened at the Scholarly Communication Unit of the Sam Jonah Library.
The workshop, being attended by editors and administrators of university journals, will end on Thursday, April 28, 2022.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has described the University of Cape Coast (UCC) as the forefront of education transformation in the country.
He has, therefore, called on the University to come up with educational ideas to expand the frontiers of quality education in the country.
