The Faculty of Law of the University of Cape Coast, has held a Roll Call ceremony for newly admitted students of the Faculty.  The roll call is an annual event held to induct new junior members into the Faculty.

 

Exchange of the signed MoU

The University of Cape Coast has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Primesec Limited to construct a hostel facility for students on campus.
 
In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, said he was grateful to Primesec Limited for collaborating with the University to construct a hostel facility for students. He indicated that accommodation for students was a priority to the University adding “because of the increasing number of students, we only accommodate students in our halls of residence” he explained.

The Department of Vocational and Technical Education (VOTEC) has organised a four-day training workshop for instructors of National Vocational Training Institutes (NVTI) in Ghana to strengthen the capacity of teachers in the use of technology-supported teaching and learning strategies. 
 

Exchange of the signed MoU

The School of Economics (SoE) of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), to pledge their commitment and support to the newly launched Ghana Macroeconomic Model.

The Macroeconomic Model was launched on February 24, 2021, and introduced to key stakeholders to whip up interest for the use of the Model in developing economic scenarios and to help provide policy alternatives in making choices that will benefit the country.

2020 Best Farmer

The 2020 National Best Farmer, Mr. Solomon Kwasi Amoah, has encouraged students of the School of Agriculture to take advantage of the numerous business opportunities in the agriculture sector.

Mr. Amoah was interacting with students of the School at a programme dubbed "Time with the National Best Farmer" at the Main Auditorium.

Dr. Sir Sam E. Jonah

 The Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Sir Sam E. Jonah, has called for a national conversation on how to mobilise national talents and resources to address the challenges and scars created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said such a dialogue should include key stakeholders, such as organised labour, the political parties, traditional leaders, civil society, and youth groups, to come up with "pretty tough decisions" that will be required to bring the economy back to normalcy.

Vice-Chancellor and IGP signing the MoU

The University of Cape Coast and the Ghana Police Service have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to run a Postgraduate Diploma programme in Security Studies.

The programme which would be hosted at the Police Academy in Accra aims at upgrading the knowledge of personnel of the service in security issues, enhance their performance and improve service delivery.
