A sod-cutting ceremony has been performed for the construction of a Lube-Bay for the Transport Section of the University.
The construction is being funded by Vanguard Assurance Company Limited at a cost of GH¢ 63, 000 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility to the University.
The Directorate of Legal Consular and General Services, in collaboration with Forensic Investigation for National Development (FIND Ghana), has held a three-day training workshop for security personnel of the University.
The security personnel were trained on General Security, Emergency Medicine, Criminal Psychology, Substance Abuse, Crime Scene Management, and Bioterrorism.

The Vice Chancellor has on behalf of the University Council, appointed Dr. David Teye Doku as Deputy Director of the Directorate of Research Innovation and Consultancy (DRIC) of the University of Cape Coast effective 1 September 2020.
